Technology-Enhanced Classroom Equipment

Our learning spaces range from small group study rooms to large auditoriums with the ability to accommodate hundreds of students. Most of our classrooms contain computers and data projectors. Our staff periodically checks all spaces throughout the semester. We offer classroom training to individuals and groups regularly.

Our primary goal is to support pedagogy, removing barriers to student - faculty interactions by providing reliable technology in the classroom. Moreover, we provide, whenever possible, a consistent user experience in classrooms across campus.

Help and Training

For immediate help contact the Helpline at x7111, and chose option 1.

You may also use the Classroom Feedback Form to request training or report issues in a particular classroom. Classroom outages are given the highest priority and will be addressed as soon as possible.

Use the Event Management System (EMS) to view current classroom and space scheduling, see upcoming events, and reserve a space for your event. EMS will list the multimedia equipment in specific classrooms, as well as show photographs of the spaces and equipment. Watch a video tutorial on EMS here.

    Special Classroom Equipment

The following hardware is available with prior notice:

    Wireless Projection

A number of classrooms are being outfitted with wireless projection technology. This capability enables faculty and students to use a laptop (and select mobile devices) anywhere in the room. Classrooms outfitted with this technology are listed below. A client application, called EasyMP, is required and is available as a free download from Epson.
