Stacey Millard

Stacey began at Colgate in 2015. In her role as Director of Residential Life, Stacey oversees all aspects of residential life; she is also closely aligned with the Residential Commons program. Stacey’s professional experience consists of more than 5 years in residential life roles at small liberal arts institutions with characteristics similar to Colgate University. One of the most rewarding components of her position, is the opportunity Stacey has to help students find their fit and the place where they feel they most belong at Colgate. She also enjoys the opportunities to collaborate with the Facilities & Capital Projects staffs as we continue to invest in and renovate our residential facilities around campus. Stacey graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in Sociology and Educational Studies, and the University of Vermont with a M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration. Stacey is a native Vermonter, but now calls Chittenango, NY home with her husband and son.
Brian Reece

Brian started working at Colgate in 2017. He brings with him a decade of experience in higher education administration, teaching, and research. As the Associate Director of Residential Life, Brian oversees the recruitment, selection, and training of student staff and provides leadership for educational initiatives sponsored by the department. He graduated from the University of Delaware with an Honors B.A. in English and M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and from the University of Oregon with a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management and M.Ed. in Counseling, Family, & Human Services with a graduate specialization in Prevention Science. Brian has lived all over, but he currently resides in Clinton, NY.

Fareeza graduated from Colgate University in 2014 with a double major in Psychology and Environmental Studies and is currently working towards the completion of her M.S in Student Affairs Counseling at Syracuse University. She has spent her time over the last two years overseeing the programmatic efforts and housing needs of sophomore students. She is very excited about working to develop and implement a community that provides an enriching and inclusive experience for all students. She is passionate about student development and looks forward to serving as a resource that will help students to develop and thrive holistically both inside and out of the classroom. Originally from Guyana in South America, Fareeza loves the Colgate community and enjoys Saturdays at the farmers market in the Village of Hamilton during the summer months.

Jack started working at Colgate University in 2016 as an Assistant Director in the Office of Residential Life. He works with students living in the Ciccone Commons and Townhouses. He is a recent graduate from Le Moyne College, where he received his B.A. in Philosophy, and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Higher Education Administration at Syracuse University. He loves the people at Colgate and the village of Hamilton, and he hope to develop programs that foster an inclusive campus environment where students can flourish.

Hailing from Newark, NJ, Chimebere is a proud city girl who is no stranger to Colgate. Chimebere graduated in 2015 with a major in French and a minor in Theater. Chimebere took a post-graduation year off after graduating in 2015 with a major in French and a minor in Theater. She served 3 semesters as a Community Leader while studying at Colgate and later returned in 2016 as the Alumni Residential Fellow for the Gordon Blaine Hancock Commons in its inaugural year. Now as an Assistant Director, Chimebere hopes to use her time in the position to work with students to create a residential experience at Colgate that is inclusive and respectful to the wide variety of its community members. When she isn’t in the office, you can find Chimebere at a Women’s Studies brown bag, chatting with the staff at Donovan’s, or choreographing in the dance studios at Ryan Hall.

Esther Rosbrook has a business degree from the University of Indonesia and graduated from the State University in Buffalo with a master of science degree in education. She is currently attending the Northeastern University for its doctoral program in higher education. Prior to coming to Colgate, Esther has about twenty years of experience working for international and multinational corporations in the areas of public relations, finance and budgeting, international relations, customer service leadership, as well as youth empowerment programs and education. Before joining the residential life team, she worked at Colgate’s ALANA Cultural Center for three years and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures for one. In addition, she advises several student organizations on campus.

Residential Housing Coordinator

Tanith began working at Colgate University in 2015. As the Housing Coordinator, she works to find each student a suitable housing situation with the facilities department to maintain our residential halls. She most enjoys working one-on-one with students looking for housing options or returning from abroad to ensure that each student finds a place they can comfortably call home while at Colgate. She received her B.A. in English/Creative Writing in 2008 from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. She is currently attending Stony Brook University, where she will complete her M.A. in Higher Education Administration this spring. Born and raised in Nebraska, Tanith has called upstate New York her home for the past 16 years along with her husband Josh and their three children.

Jacob served as a Community Leader for five semesters during his time at Colgate and now is excited to be working on a different side of the organization to help residents reach their full potential. A member of the Class of 2018, Jacob graduated a semester early in December of 2017 with a degree in Molecular Biology and has plans to continue his education through applying to medical school. He can often be found around town or at Colgate sporting events supporting his alma mater.
