Prior to her role at Colgate University, LeAnna worked as a licensed professional counselor in college mental health services and outreach/prevention services at Binghamton University and University of Wisconsin at Madison. While at UW, her position held a specific focus on providing services for students of color and intersectional identities in and outside of traditional therapy models within the campus community. Her overall higher education experience also includes close work with residential life, leadership, and career services. Additionally, she worked at the Jed Foundation and helped to launch the Equity in Mental Health Framework, in conjunction with the Steve Fund, which focuses on the experiences of students of color on campus. LeAnna is a strong advocate for social justice and is excited to collaborate with the community at Colgate University!

Outside of work, LeAnna enjoys tending to her container garden on her patio, cooking/baking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. She believes that laughter is an essential part of life and tries to incorporate humor into her life as much as possible.
