Explore visit options below, or plan a trip at a time most convenient for you. Information session Join an admission officer and a current student in discussing the Colgate experience. Registrations are encouraged. Saturdays@Colgate Start your Saturday morning with an information session led by an admission officer and a current student. Many spring Saturday dates also feature a member of the faculty. Following the information session, student-led campus tours will give you an inside look into student life at Colgate. Registration for Saturday programs begins at 9:30 a.m. The information session begins at 10:00 a.m. Reservations are recommended. Spring Saturdays: February 18* March 4*, 11, 18, 25* April 1*, 8*, 15*, 22*, 29* *Information sessions on these dates will be led by an admission officer, a current student, and a member of the faculty. Summer Saturdays: July 8, 15, 22, 29 August 5, 12, 19, 26 September 2 Informational Interviews Non-evaluative informational interviews with a senior admission fellow or an admission officer allow you to learn more about Colgate in a one-on-one setting. This is not a formal assessment that affects the outcome of an application to Colgate; we want to hear about your interests, goals, and answer your questions about academics and student life. Interviews are available Monday through Friday, from May of a student’s junior year through December of a student's senior year. It is recommended that you register at least three weeks in advance to ensure availability. Class Visits Join first-year and sophomore students in one of our core curriculum classes or another course of your choosing. A list of classes is available in the Office of Admission at registration. Campus tour The campus tour is a student-led walking tour which provides visitors with an inside look at the Colgate campus. Registrations are encouraged. Alumni Interviews If you are unable to visit our campus, we invite you to arrange an informational interview with a member of our alumni community. These informational conversations are available in many areas from September through January of a student’s senior year. An overnight visit gives you the chance to experience life on the Hill — attend a class, participate in extracurricular activities, eat in a dining hall, and meet with faculty. Overnight visits are offered to high school seniors and prospective transfer students on Sundays and Thursdays, from mid-September to mid-November and from late January to the end of February.
